After draining the water, give the fruit another clean water rinse.

Add the Goron Tula to boiling water and let soak for up to 20 minutes. Water should be drained.

Open the fruit with your hands and pour it inside your clean cooking pot. The fruits should be covered with water and boiled for an hour over low heat. The water will change into syrup, as you’ll see.

One tablespoon of brown sugar or honey can be added for sweetness.

Extract the syrup from the mixture using a sieve.

After letting the syrup cool, wrap it and pour it inside a storage container, it can be taken 1 cup in the morning and at night.

Before you eat Goron Tula fruit or drink the syrup consult your doctor to check out for possible drug interactions which can result from eating the fruit especially when you are on medication.

Other than interaction with drugs, you may experience allergic reactions if you are allergic to the fruit.
